The selftiteld debut album by this young German band offered us dark, melancholic and haunting Black Metal. This record contains the material from the "Hier am Ende der Welt" and the "A Prayer for the World to end" demos for the first time on one medium with re-arranged and re-mastered setlist. Musically Isolation can probably be judged in the earliest as depressive Black Metal. Still it never was the purpose to adjust itself to a scene or a genre, but to create instead authentic effigies of internal feelings. The influence of bands reach from Bethlehem, Ulver or Burzum up to many non-metal styles and the only thing that counts is to play music which transports genuine feelings, capable to immerse the listener into it.
